DOH MINE GOLLYWOGGLES!

What a lovely and creative title, no? I thought so when I typed it about two seconds ago. What? You would like to know the cause for such an explosion of noise and letters? Well, I'll tell you.

I bought Andrew's WEDDING BAND today! :) Talk about a happy moment! I felt... happy. Just all sorts of happy. And proud. And happy. And delighted. And excited. And happy. Really. *happy sigh* It's a spiffy ring, too. Sleek and snazzy, just like my man is.

I did my Shakespeare final today, so that class is OVER! Good grief. Talk about blogging crises! Yes, plural, because plural is the number of catastrophes and chaotic moments that involved that blog. We mostly just sat around and talked to each other in groups about how we did during the semester and how we achieved the learning outcomes for the course.

Andrew and I are looking at apartment tonight. It's a basement apartment. The owners? A cute old couple, she's 79, he's 82. Isn't that absolutely DARLING?! I think so. There are some things that Andrew and I just have to get done before we leave on Friday. We've gotten most of them taken care of (get rings, get engaged, and get engagement pictures), so now housing is the big thing that we've got on our lists. Well, that and finals and packing and cleaning checks. So, no big deal.

Claira, my roommate and a lovely girl, is also getting married this summer. That makes me happy. She's getting married on May 21. That makes me a little jealous because I have to wait until August, but really, I love August now. She ordered her wedding dress online, and it came in the mail today. She's taking it in to get altered to fit her style a little more, and also to put sleeves on. She got it for under a $100, so she can afford to do things like that.

My mom is giving me her wedding dress, which makes me very happy and excited! I've always loved that dress! She had Grandma send it down from Idaho, and she got it in the mail today! I want to go home and try it on! It fit last time I tried it on! I'm so excited! :)

Well, that's the brief update. I'm going to write in my journal and pack a little before going to look at the house apartment tonight. Have a glorious day!

So now that that Shakespeare blog is done, I can actually just focus on one blog, and get more stuff on here. Yay for the semester having one last week! Boo for that last week being finals! Ighs, but I don't like all this testing going on. Why do they do that to us? Isn't it enough that we give them lots of money? Oh well, press on!

OH! The good news.... I'M ENGAGED! As of Tuesday. I'm now sporting the most beautiful ring in the world, given to me by the most wonderful man in the world! :) Happy me! Yes, happy me indeed. Andrew and I are getting married in the Portland, Oregon Temple at 1:00 on Friday, August 12. I'm getting sealed to me sweetie! Haha. Sometimes I just so excited I freak out and have to call my mom and gush about it, or grab some poor person who happens to be standing close to me. Believe it or not, that's usually Andrew. :)

I must run off and finalize me some finals (or at least study for them), but life is good, brothers and sisters. Life is good.
